Communication Error
Since the pre-order, the same issue has been happening, and they haven’t done anything to fix it so we can play online. There is no solution for this, and it’s Bandai’s fault. This is unacceptable. It’s almost like a scam, because most people buy the game to play online! The game also doesn’t have a legitimate fullscreen mode. We need to speak up and leave reviews on Steam! It’s time to take action.

So couple of things:

You can't trick me into using Twitter.

And Exclusive Fullscreen is dead. I forget if it's Windows 11 or DirectX 12 but one of the 2 supposedly doesn't support the old Exclusive Fullscreen and that's why you are seeing it phased out of newer games. Even games like SIlent Hill 2 that have the option of Borderless or Fullscreen aren't using Exclusive Fullscreen and you can't tell the difference between borderless and it's version of Fullscreen.

Alright, -1 problem, thanks!

I fixed with a BIOs update. There's fixes, they shouldn't be necessary, but at the end of the day the game is incredible and when I did fix my connection issue, I haven't had a single problem or disconnect, not even lag. I spent a long time trying to figure out how to fix my issue, ever since early access and it was totally worth it in the end because online matches are sooo much fun. Plus the bios update fixed me not being able to install windows 11 too so I'm all around pretty happy now.

You shouldn't have to mess with your system bios just to run a damn game!

Sure but I'd rather just fix the problem instead of crying about it. It's not that difficult if you've got ten minutes and google.

Well then you'll be happy to know that the user fell for a placebo or coincidence or whatever you want to call it because people with all kinds of motherboards and all kinds of bios update statuses are having the issue and this user just didn't have errors for a period and assumed what they did fixed it. They will have the errors again.

We're seeing the same thing with a bunch of people who don't know what they are talking about saying you need to upgrade to or downgrade from Windows 11 24H2 (like literally one crowd is pushing the narrative that downgrading fixed it for them, and another is saying upgrading fixed it for them. Neither are correct, and this is obvious when you consider consoles have the issue too)

Anyone who says they have a fix for it is full of ♥♥♥♥ because the only fix is to spam Bamco with support tickets until they patch it.

Except it won't fix a damn thing.
Though everyone should keep their Bios updated anyway. (well almost everyone; there's some edge cases where updating the bios might remove support for their CPU. That's only people with new boards and old cpus though)

Standard response from Bandai support:
Support:
Hi fn0i3x!
Thanks for reaching out. How may I help you?

Me:
After finding a player online and loading the animations to start the fight, it shows 'Connecting,' and then a notification pops up: 'Communication Error.'

I go back to the lobby, and it keeps happening with the same player or others. The same error occurs every time. I haven’t been able to play ONLINE even once!

Already ahead of you.

I hope they fix this soon; releasing a game where the online mode doesn't work is just ridiculous.

I see a lot of people creating threads similar to mine, except for the review bombing, but still about the same things. If you want to make a difference, visit the Bandai support website, create an account, and get in touch with their support. An AI will assist you at first, but once you mention a different issue, a real person will take over. https://support.bandainamcoent.com

I will leave a negative review.

The game has no content for the price tag.
This isnt done for multiplater competitive mode.
Lags and stuttering during fights.
Gameplay su*** ass.

Welcome shills and DBZ moronic fans.
