Great game but with some major issues
The game is great as said in the title but there are some major issue with the dp battle and maybe a couple in general that i want to point out and hopefully bandai see this, i think a lot of people will agree with this issues.

1- The most important, the abilities, for the dp battle at least, senzu and afterimage strike are broken, extremely so it's clear they were not intended in old tenkaichi with this new mechanic that more you get hit or hit or wathever the more you charge the stock, right now yajirobai is super meta cause you need a character of 9-10 to have a chance at defeating him with someone your level, cause if you don't have insane damage he needs to push you away one time and he fully heals, it needs to be much higher cost like 7 at least and the animation need to last a bit longer, the afterimage strike same thing, if you can keep the pressure in close combat even if you get hit you will reach 3 and sometime you can just get it going and always have it on, it's absolutely ridicolous, it needs to cost 5 or last half of what it last now.

2-The disconnection, people disconnected on me this evening 3 times in 4 games, it seems bandai has taken notice but their approach seems to be temporary ban or whatever, no, this is wrong, if someone wants it can still just keep going after the ban but beside, easy fix, if someone disconnect, you get the win and the points and he still lose them, it's extremely easy, if you get frustrated and want to quit alright, give the option to surrender too, if someone is getting badly beaten up and decide he don't want to play this person anymore it should be his choice no need to frustrate players needlessly, still you can give little penaltys for doing so, like maybe they lose a little bit more points, this should reduce the disconnection already a lot.

3-This is for dp too, rework the way win get calculated when the time is over, it can't be just remaining health that's a big problem, it makes a good portion of the roster not usable and here is why.
I start with gogeta ssj 4 and have another character of 5 points, he has 5 character mostly weak, i kill 3 of them losing half of my health he has mr satan and crillin left, the match end for time, he get the win, i have still half of my gogeta which i paid 10 and another full health which i paid 5, i still have 10 dp points on the table, he has 4 or 5 or whatever, why the hell does he gets the win, i'm destroying him.
That mixed with the health regenerating like crazy when characters go away makes the game extremely frustrating, if i am one vs 3 he can just rotate the characters he'll never lose, it's just broken, health regeneration needs to be 10 times slower or a combination of slower and longer time frame to switch.

4- i don't know how many of you encountered it, when people go to full power they can just spam ki blast indefinetely and you can't do anything about it, it's a clown show, if you send them back they are in full power so they reflect them, if you deflect them they start getting close and then use the ulti while you deflect or get hit and you have to take it, even cause some characters are unblockable so they can come close and use it and you just take it, but even worse if you start parryng the go around you and start hitting you in the back cause while parrying you can't even turn, all while spamming ki blasts and even it the best case scenario no ulti just ki blast that you block, still it removes a bar of your health like that, it's so stupid, in bt3 the ki blast were thrown in a pattern of 4 or 5 or 6 and then there needed to be a pause before starting to shoot again, there was a reason for it, even cause in this game the damage of ki blast it's too high, they should be a distraction not a damage dealer.

5- Beside the design flaws, there are some few issue with the game itself, leaving obvious bug like characters not moving after some action if you don't move them with the stick, the buttons feeling it's sometime extremely frustrating i think everyone has tried during a move and sometime it just doesn't work or the character does something else, if i press L2 and triangle the character has to do the move he doesn't have to throw a little ki blast, every action related to the menus are weird it seems like the menu needs to do it's little animation of showing up before you can actually do anything, in a frenetic game like this, this can't work.

6- The back movement in close range when using moves, sometimes the character do it sometime they don't and they shoot blasts or use rush while you are 2mm from them trying to punch them, there should be the back movement to give a hint when somewhat close, always and should be a little slower too.

Beside this big ones some major improvement can be made with not much effort.
1- Make me choose how much time to give for character selection in the private rooms, there is no reason that if i create a room to play with a friends i need to have an extremely short timer that with the animation when you choose every character make choosing a team of five almost impossible, even considering the mess with the character selection screen.

2- Do i really need to change the options every time i start a search for online battles?
just ask me to save a default to use or just save the last used.

3- This is something to weight with the data, if the playerbase online is large enough add another mode with higher DP, like 25, this will give much more room for teams variety and not be too broken, consider 2 ten and one 5 are already 25, four 7 and mr satan, five 5, the possibilties are a lot i think it would be played and like even more.

4-Just give the options to remap all the controls, if you are worried about balance make that if something, like for example super counter needs 2 input it still need 2 input or at least give bigger options, for example, the super counter can be done in classic with square and up on the key pad which is a much better feeling of pressing them both togheter, with the stick it's weird, but it can't on standard cause of the transformation panel, one of the 3 panel is bound to remain to up, just give the possibility to put one panel on right which it's not used. But really just give the options to change whatever.
