1: It's called filler, which is still relevant to a game like this because half the moves are drawn from filler content. Like movie characters for example. If this game adhered strictly to canon, Vegito wouldn't even fight in his base form as he spends literally *NO* time in it.
2: I like the beam change, it keeps the move fresh.
