Fix CPU behavior, Level super its easy and lazy
My controller’s been busted for a while, so I’ve been playing with the keyboard, which sucks for fighting games, but I’m still winning like 9 out of 10 against this CPU on hard. Sometimes the CPU just stand still, then the character transforms, and other times they just lay on the ground and don’t get up. They really need to fix this—it’s too easy and glitchy.

i think in addition to CPU level there is also CPU per-character... A Saibaman will never fight as hard as super saiyan rose goku black for instance. But yes they do need to patch the CPU breaking when they hit the ground/just watch you power up/etc.

Bro, I’m trying to have a cool fight with transformations and everything, but the CPU just stands still for like 7 seconds before transforming. It’s like the CPU itself struggles to use the transformation, it’s not even fun anymore. I have to just stand there waiting for Freeza to transform lol

ui goku in the jiren fight will straight up murder you. people can say what ever they want but that fight is unfair.

agreed man, can’t have an enjoyable offline experience because the Super difficulty is just too easy

Man every character in this game acts different and has their own bugs. Even Jiren's got this glitch where he just keeps tossing energy balls at the ground from far away nonstop. While I was keeping my distance, he just kept doing the same thing. Some characters go into sparking mode and just use their basic power instead of going all out. Kale is a perfect example—she only throws the same move and doesn’t even bother trying to transform. They really need to fix a lot to make this AI better

I can do a 1 vs 5 fight with perfect cell without breaking a sweat, the cpu is simply bugged, it's not bad or good, it doesn't work.
I turned on Tenkaichi 3 in the emulator again to see how it felt about it, the combats vs CPU are infinitely more enjoyable

And I have to say something about combat, the mechanic of adopting a stance to hit your if you get hit in bt3 was a gamble, if you get it right it's a great reward, if you don't you eat. There is constant spam here and it makes the game worse

Not just to play against, but a tradition of these games has been running CPUvCPU tournaments with friends. We did a discord tournament, where everyone signed up and we ran the fights, and half the fights devolved into a lot of flying back and forth, pausing and doing nothing, transforming and then powering back down almost immediately, and just using a single super out of their moveset, even when in Sparking mode.

Doesn't matter which CPU setting/balance preset you use, they all seem to be broken to some degree. Which is wild, because in the actual story mode, there are some fights where the CPU seems tuned properly.

That fight is easy along with every other fight, even in custom battles its easy because no matter how much you boost a cpu it just as predictable as ever. i wish they would add an extra difficulty where its as hard as the tenkaichi games were.

i think they should ajust many things not add a level more, they must programa the AI better , i never see the CPU to fuse, i select character that can make fuse and they never fuse, its boring AI, it need to be programed to do de right thing.

It's funny how the "normal" episode battle difficult is infinitely harder than regular battles on "Super". Who the hell playtested this game?!

its not, the only dificulty this its vegeta ozaru in the begining

Yes, please.
The episode battles are fine as they are. But for just battle against the CPU super is way too weak. Way below the average D5 player.

I know human players are always better than CPU, but damn...CPU feels useless you can't even train with them.
