COMMUNICATION ERROR PC FIX (POSSIBLY)
So, if you're anything like me, there's a chance you've been looking online since release (or early access, if you're even more like me) for some sort of rhyme or reason as to why you get a communication error every. single. time you pass the intro dialogue sequence of any ranked match you enter. Turns out, the answer is (probably) in updating the bios of your motherboard.

Y'see, I'm not all that savvy with computers, so I didn't really know that updating your bios was the key here (I also didn't really know what updating your bios WAS.. so as a result they haven't been updated like, since 2019). Truthfully, I found this solution in the comments section of an Instagram reel, and I'm honestly surprised anyone pieced two and two together at all. But, if you're tired of seeing communication errors, there's a chance you may just need to update the bios of your motherboard. There's lots of useful guides that can help follow you through the process (it should really only take at most an hour of research and following links and YouTube tutorials), and I'll try to help out as much as I can if anyone has trouble (although, again, I'm not all that great at computers as much as I am great at finding someone else online who is great at computers). Of course, this may not resolve your issue at all! But for the majority of the people who've been experiencing those errors like I have, hopefully this works for y:all! :Goku:

TL;DR if you're on PC and keep getting communication errors once an online and/or ranked match starts, try updating the bios of your motherboard, and it may just help you out!

It's another thread about updating the BIOS, and it's useless.
The problem is the host system that is broken right now, and only Bandai could fix it.

This is crazy...I can't play one online match without the fkng "Communication Error" before the end of the match! And I think that is crazy that no one is talking about this VERY big problem! What we have to do now? I can't refund this game but what if Bandai will never fix this problem?? I'll get a "not working game" forever? For 75$???? Plz tell me how to solve or how to Bandai can solve this problem all of us!

Honestly I think with this many people having the same issue all over it's probably not a personal device issue. Updating bios, and drivers can help only if it is a issue on your individual end. IMP not the case.

People are saying windows 24H2 is the cause, rolling back to 23H2 fixes it, can't test it myself since my windows decided to delete the rollback.

I am not reinstalling windows for a game, I have too many important files to "clean" install.

I don't care? I just offered you something that you said you didn't have, and for the benefit of people who may be willing to go so far (of which I am one).

Guys, after trying every single fix possible what worked for me was to disable cpu virtualisation in bios. 5 matches in a roe 0 issues. Happened at least 1 time every other match

It's not, and that doesn't make sense for a whole bunch of reasons, BUT everyone should update their BIOS anyway
(unless you are running a new mobo with an old CPU; then check to make sure the update doesn't remove compatibility for your CPU, because that's a thing, especially with AM3 and AM4)

So then don't 'clean' install. Back up the relevant folders to a external HDD or large USB and put them back after the install. Or that would be what I would say if it was going to help at all but rolling back will not help, but yea unless you are removing malware, you never have to wipe everything out. I have files in appdata that go as far back as 2009

Give it a minute, it'll happen again. Some of us didn't have virtualization enabled from the beginning.

The only real 'fix' is to file a support ticket with Bamco and wait for them to patch the issue

it is NOT your bios. updating your bios is just part of BASIC pc maintenance... should always be kept up to date when a new update releases, same as video card drivers...

pc's aren't consoles.

there is no fix, this is a game issue. stop pretending it isn't. Vsync won't turn off your dc's, updating your bios, downgrading from windows 11, it's all excuses,

point the finger at the problem. Bandai.

and before you "i didnt get it to play online" losers comment, we get it you don't have any friends, go play your lonely little game by yourself and let us have fun with online (if and when it ever gets fixed)

I wrote a guide that explains step by step every possible solution, but they should be the ones to release a corrective patch for the game. Write a negative review, in the meantime I'll attach my guide
