What is perception what is it good for?
An alternative is to try and predict when the heavy attacks come out. A lot of people fall into patterns, where they go for X hits and then press Heavy Attack to get their attack out - that's where you can tap guard to vanish the heavy hitters, like the stun / gut punch. The timing is easier, but still not easy.
And as a bonus half of the combos in this game are fake so you can easily Z vanish out of them if you time your guard button press.
How do i use Super counter what button is to press?
Plus recommend trying to not be put into that position by learning how to vanish when someone vanishes on you. Vanish chains are the most monotonous part of online play, but it's the current meta. Get behind and do a backshot combo, since you get two free full combos.
Forward square, and the timing takes effort and elbow grease to build into muscle memory.
