How do i break free of enemy combos?
Hi, most of the time i get pummeled from behind, and i can't do anything about it but stare helplessly how my health bar goes down.
So what can i do when i get combo locked from behind or front, how do i break free how can i do the super counter?

What is to do when me and the enemy attack at the same time and this ridiculous animation starts where no one takes damage even though they hit each other.

Thug it out, or learn how to use perception, or spam step:steamhappy:

I´d massively recommend practicing advanced Counter in the practice Sessions with Piccolo

What is perception what is it good for?

Perception is a more or less simple counter to normal hits

Rush Attack + Forward the moment you get hit - BUT, you cannot spam this either. I believe the most you can attempt is once every half a second, so probably once or twice per combo string in-between heavy hits. Practice makes perfect, and Super Training can help you get a feel for it. Set the training dummy to Rush Attacks and give it a go.

An alternative is to try and predict when the heavy attacks come out. A lot of people fall into patterns, where they go for X hits and then press Heavy Attack to get their attack out - that's where you can tap guard to vanish the heavy hitters, like the stun / gut punch. The timing is easier, but still not easy.

Bruh i did and there was no lesson about this dodging thing nor how to deflect ki blast, or how to break from combos just the basic stuff even though it's called advanced.

Perception can give you punishing openings, for example you use perception before your enemy strike you they get pushed back but not knocked, so you can use step to begin a combo and punish them, or you can just block if they are starting infront of you, or try using blocking at first than use perception(if on classic) you could sonic sway and tp to them with heavy hit, than you can use lightning attack and knock them down and possibly use a move

No not block!! there is feature where you can deflect ki blast such as a kamehame ha by wasting 2 skill points.

Front combos are not real and can be blocked mid way if you keep pressing the guard button, you can also use a super counter (UP + Attack button) although it’s a frame perfect counter but necessary to master if you wanna compte in ranked, as for the back shots or behind combos you can’t do anything about them except using a super counter so i suggest practicing it cuz it’s literally op.

And as a bonus half of the combos in this game are fake so you can easily Z vanish out of them if you time your guard button press.

+1,

Plus recommend trying to not be put into that position by learning how to vanish when someone vanishes on you. Vanish chains are the most monotonous part of online play, but it's the current meta. Get behind and do a backshot combo, since you get two free full combos.

That's Super Perception, but it won't work on every Ki Super Blast. Hold down Perception before the beam hits you.

Gotta do training, bro. YOU HAVE TO.

Forward square, and the timing takes effort and elbow grease to build into muscle memory.
