If they added more escape utilities from said combos, I think we'd see a lot less of those trades.
So vanish wars aren’t nearly as much as an issue as the potential of ACTUAL infinite Super Counter wars, since they cost no resources. But constantly hitting 2 frame windows back to back? Someone is eventually going to mess up, even pros.
Whether it’s consistent or not that’s literally all you got.
I would still rather have a solution like BT3 when a big clash happens and it resets the status quo.
You can still miss a vanish sometimes, but it's better to have the mechanic be like "okay you both managed to do it 4 times in a row so let's reset it here"
The biggest problem I have with it currently is that it slows the fight so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ much it becomes boring
1 - Make the timing a lot harder to hit, that way it actually feels rewarding when you do it.
2 - Increase the ki per vanish, in BT3 used to be 1 ki bar, which means at maximum 5 vanishs per character, in ZERO is a 3rd of a ki bear, which is 15 Vanishs, 30 in total, that's just ridiculous
