People should stop putting bias into reviews, you are not a critic for this reason. 7/10 is literally good stop losing your minds over your favorite game being called good instead of amazing and without flaws. The game has flaws and it is still good. The comparison to concord isn't fair because 98% of the people who ♥♥♥♥♥ about it and make this comparison haven't even played that game, not to mention that IGN actually reviewed it for the game it was and not based on political bs. Concord at its core was still a really well made game to its gameplay which is why it has a 7 even if it released like absolute garbage due to marketing and politics.

The game was ass and thats why it failed. If it's good people would overlook it.

Needs some adjustments to balance the ranked gameplay a bit. at least 1v1s Like if your character has a transformation, the character should have to start out in base.
Fusions should be okay because of 1v1 it's impossible for them to fuse.
However if your character doesn't have a base form, they cannot be used (bye bye ssj4 gogeta and a few others.)

Game looks great, sounds great, sad they dont have the OG music to fight to but whatever. Insane we don't get to fight to cell's theme (which i fulled expected when showed up in story) and ultimate battle, hikari no willpower, etc.

However i will maintain that this is a pvp game mostly, and the story mode was so people wouldn't complain about no story but somehow still are even though they can just go watch the anime. I think forcing me to rewatch it for the 100th time isn't going to add anything to the gameplay itself. If you prefer to watch movies or whatever.. as said before there is the anime to watch. Pre made, just waiting for people to watch.

Is 7 a fair score? Nah it's probably the best fast paced fighter out atm. Fighter z was terrible ontop of it being a guilty gear copy, and xenoverse was laughable at best. From my experience on it was just complete desync when fighting up close and that caused everyone to just throw ults, and by throw i mean spam them.

You can ltierally tell who's a xenoverse player by this playstyle alls they do is charge and throw blasts.

If you're comparing this game to that and xenoverse 2 got a 7.5 then you'd have to give this game an 8.5 by default. And lets not forget about concord they gave a 7 and died in 2 weeks.

I do agree that the character screen could be streamlined to pick a character then get a second sub menu for which version of them them so it's not so cluttered.
