Teleport Dodge
If I remember correctly, in the old parts there was the possibility to teleport behind the enemy with the circle button (block) on the Playstation every attack. This could be done with every attack until the KI display was empty. But now it seems to me that this no longer works with the B button for Xbox and circle button Playstation. It now only works at the right moment and when the opponent charges his punch as in training mode. For your information, I play with the classic controls.

Thank you very much for your answers.

hold the button to charge up your ki and double tap the jump button, you go from charge to teleport, or you can use the hit/jump button together for a teleport

Thank you for your answer. I've already tested it. In training and unfortunately it doesn't feel like it used to. The problem with me is that if I take blows non-stop, my character can't teleport away with the key combination you described.

Turn off the assist options in the settings menu and you should teleport more consistently.

I've found that the autoblock caused more problems than it helped.

Having a vanish duel is done with the block button. Tap it as soon as they try to hit you with their teleport and you vanish behind them. Otherwise i don't know what else you might want.

Make sure to turn off all your auto bs and only put on auto recovery. If not the controls try to fight you when you're giving people the hands, and make sure to make player 2's setting the same as yours. Cause sometimes it thinks you're player 2.

Thank you very much for your great answers. But unfortunately it doesn't bring me the desired success. Maybe I'm just caught up in my nostalgia. I just remember it as described above and YouTube videos also give me the impression that back then you could simply teleport behind the opponent using the circle key or B. I'll probably have to do more laps in training. But unfortunately it's very tough for me and I hardly have a chance against many attacks.

You can teleport behind the opponent using X + A at the same time (xbox controler) and moving forward, you must be close enough tho

It's a skill issue

I think you mean the Z-counter? It's a vanish. You time your block with enemy attacks, and you teleport.
You could also mean a different move where you press dash + punch at the same time, and you do a teleport attack.
The last thing I read is that people are typing about the dragon dash (power up and dash button twice) and you dash behind the opponent, but it's not a teleport.

Some characters also has moves like instant transmission. Hope this helps and good luck!
