Depends on the vendor, G2A is straight crap and sells stolen keys, but a lot of other sites are fine and work with devs/publishers.

There are verified key sellers, The seller I bought from is authorized and I saved $20 on the Deluxe edition.

Almost all of these keys are aqquired via illegal or at the very least questionable ways. The discount has to come from somewhere, and they never come from official sources with new games. Also most platforms don't exactly give you a key you can give it someone else so that's more food for thought.

I'm surprised people wanting to save money so bad don't just save 100% actually. Then again these people tend to take the moral high ground because "I paid for it" never mind the fact that it was propably aqquired with someone's stolen money lol.

Yeah you people have a weird perception of freedom. I guess if I break into someone's house and steal all their stuff, maybe murder them in the process, that also falls under freedom.
