Online is pretty bad ngl

I love the game dont get me wrong, I LOVE IT. But:

- There is no way i can leave a laggy game in non ranked is i just wanna go for a quick match. I had a team battle, timer so short i had to kinda random a lot, then just to wake up to a powerpoint presentation of lag. The dude had red ping at least 500ms.
- What does 1 2 3 4 5g only mean? I can't see my damn ping in lobbies menu
- I cant leave THE MATCH (non ranked)
- The pinging sound is annoying. Waiting for connection/Matchmaking DING DING DING DING DING DING. Stop
- Messages are so bland, "waiting for connection" when player selects character. Just say waiting for oponent etc.
- Round Timer is not shown on hud as well. how am i supposed to know if i timeout? Come on
- On top of that, i can barely find a a lobby. There is always room full/and or my ping is not acceptable to that region? HOW CAN I CHECK MY PING?
- Half baked game forced on release, typical namco stuff. Only devs understand those icons and messages lmao.

do you have good internet connections? its one of the bummers because sometimes you done live in a place that is allowing you to even have a good internet connections. and wifi is trash. you need cable connection

I just came to point out that the dude harassing you in this thread got banned.

Also, the game's netcode is a flaming dumpster downhill, fast.
My internet is bomb, and the game plays like molasses, inputs are laggy, and they don't tell you what your connection even is. I was all green, until I port forwarded, then the game ran "Smoother" but the connection bars turned red on the left, and not the right, and just stay that way for everyone.

So basically, what I'm saying here is... because I opened my ports, and I have the best connection possible, I'M the one that can't connect properly to everyone else now, and the game sees me as the disadvantaged one, even though the gameplay improved previously because prior, all the bars on the right would flicker to red.

At the end of the day, there's no such thing as "Bars" and even if you suggest a good connection on your lobby, people with bad connections still come in, as represented by NOT green across the board, whatever those 'connection' bars even mean.

It sounds like the biggest complaint is how long it takes to find a match and how the connection is bad but I rarely run into people with bad connection so either I have extremely good wi-fi or some people who play this game have extremely bad wifi

It sounds like the biggest complaint is how long it takes to find a match and how the connection is bad but I rarely run into people with bad connection so either I have extremely good wi-fi or some people who play this game have extremely bad wifi

don't get me wrong, i do get some amazing connections, but that's prioritised towards ranked, what if i just wanna smoke a doubie and chill playing with randoms? the lobby menus are a mess, there is no way to see my ping before joining a lobby, so those 3 or higher, 4 or higher don't help much. Also i had to sit afk to get beaten in a team battle because the match was literally powerpoint for me and the other dude wasn't lagging (there is no way of leaving the match either).

See I don't get these problems, I don't need to quit in the middle of a match I just beat them to end the match and return to lobby if I need to leave then back out it's that simple for me and if you can't be around too long just play in singles battles
