Local multiplayer has only one stage

I'm enjoying the game so far. It's what I was hoping for as a long time fan of budokai tenkaichi 3, but local fight only has one stage and the tournament can only be done with CPU.
If it's working with the local CPU fights I don't get why they doeasn't add all the other stages and the tournament...

Hopefully this will get added in a future update, or mod.

Problem i believe is having all the stage destruction happening on both sides at the same time.

In split screen the game has to render everything twice, twice the polygons, twice the special effects, twice of everything, with how high quality the graphics are in the game they had to limit the 2p battle to that one stage or there would be heavy stuttering on the ps5 as well as older pc's

They said they had no plans to add it in the first place. It was only put in later because people complained about it.

someone mentioned there is a mod (or someone is making one) to let you use more maps in 2p.
