Ranked is Sparking Zero fun

it doesn't match you with people on the same setting i can have my assists off and play people with all the handicaps on, and everyone just picks OP super characters or a giant character and spams grab. so if i want a match on equal footing control wise i cant do it and 98% of the roster is pointless i know i should git gud but its a bummer

Any decent player knows that playing with assists off is the way to go because letting the game do things for you is the real handicap as you are not at full control of your character, resources and positioning so yea you said it your self it’s a skill issue.

You're right but players with all the assists on should have some sort of indication that they have them on. Tekken did this and it was seen as a mark of shame if you went into ranked using auto combos.. Same should be applied here.

but does it do anything? if you are already in a match and you see your opponent has assists, do you just dc and waste everyones time? because id still use assists in ranked who cares for "mark of shame" its a game to have fun with

I have to disagree on this, having full control is the only way any player should play to get better in the long run and compete in high ranks relying on game to help you will limit your understanding and mastering of the game mechanics so indicating if someone using assists or not is useless as they weaken them selfs by default.

Because anyone with any self respect wouldn't want to play that way... that's why it tells your opponent in Tekken when you have it on.

i think it would be nice if it was at least a setting we could filter by or it forced everyone to the default one. my main salt earlier is i feel wedged into using only one class of fighter to keep up with all the ToP characters.
