All that said I have personally enjoyed steadily improving my game, moving on from just sparking combos into ultimates, starting to mix in some Ki blasts, winning vanish wars, figuring out when specials work. Heck I just solo'd a tournament of destroyers on normal with just Goten (Sleep is so good for 1v5s).
I hate Great Ape Vegeta.
Yeah I usually don't even bother trying to dodge beams. If the cutscene plays I am immediately holding the block button and hoping I'm not stuck in an animation.
I havent tried lowering the difficulty but is that much easier? Or are people's pride just stopping them from lowering it?
His beams are easily dodgeable from a range so just dont engage close range with him as much and if you do only attack his back by vanishing first. Can't speak on too much experience cause i defeated him in my first try and dodged all his beams though

And when you go down that rabbit hole you are an entitled manbaby.
Congratulations now you understand it.
Can he be cheesed if you look up a method? Sure, but even with that, reacting fast enough is hard for people still learning the controls. It's like fighting an early Souls boss. He doesn't give you much room for error, and he obliterates new players. Then, when you get the controls down, he's just an easy sponge.
