What’s up with Piccolo’s Episode?

I’m fighting Frieza right now, and EVERY time I get to the alternate path instead of the main path.

The alternate path has you beat him fast in his 2nd form, so I decided to just not even fight him and still got the alternate path rather than the main path unlocked.

What’s going on here?

I was having the same issue. Apparently you need to ko him with a special beam cannon when he says "❤❤❤❤ you this isn't even my final form"

Here’s the problem, my game randomly ends the fight and just defeats him on its own when he still has hp left, I don’t even hear that voice line.

I’m like 90% positive this is a bug that tricks the game into sending me into the alternate path

Lower the difficulty and it'll lock out the alternate path and force the main progression. Then just raise it back to normal after.

Yeah, thats literally the timer running out. In order to get the alternate you have to KO him with a special beam cannon before the match ends. Or at least thats what I've been told.

thanks, the game didn’t interfere with ending the match and let me defeat frieza

You have to beat him even when he transforms to his 3rd form fast....

I already gotten his alt route there really. Use this time to practice against Freiza by retrying until you defeat him in his 3rd form.

This mission is 100% bugged. Even though I defeated cell in time, when 17 re-appears cell still comes and absorbs him. This sh*t is so stupid, this game sucks compared to the originals

SET A TIMER FOR 2 MINUTES. You have to beat him in under two min. Time spent in your ult counts from my experience. Special Beam cannon sucks in that scenario because of the long animation for it. Ive beaten it. I set a timer for 2 min and you can do it too.

You're kidding right? I've been desperately trying to get the alternate path but the time keeps running out and putting me back on the canon path. No matter what I do it puts me on the regular ending. So I'm not sure how you're always getting it.
