Extreme ammounts of lag when playing online?

so far my experience during training and any other offline has been smooth, but my last two fights were supper laggy, it felt like the game was running at 10fps and my character were doing inputs i was even close to doing, like i was trying my best to start a string and broly just stood there for like 3 seconds charging ki even though i wasn't holding R2 at all

The problem of not having rollback, that you have to deal with a mentally handicapped person with bad internet on purpose and you have to screw yourself

so the game was straight up lying with the 4 bars connection? i thought the whole point of the connection settings was so stuff like these couldn't happen, guess i am dumb for putting my expectations high

It's so relative to "have 4 bars". He can have 4 bars and live in Madagascar. The internet will only work well when playing with people nearby. Anyway, the game just came out, chill.
