bring me a physical copy
1. most importantly, i've grown tired of forking over money for temporary licenses.
Steam is great and convenient for a lot of things. for me, mostly to play games i already own copies of on other platforms. or some games i got insanely cheap.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero looks very promising as a game. one i could come back to for a decade for couch competition play, much like i still do with older entries from the franchise on the OG PS and Xbox.

2. i haven't purchased consoles in a few gens now. with limited drive space and a need to still download most game files, i would be limited by what i'd be able to download per month, and especially by what i'd maybe want to re-download that month...

i live in the woods. not only is my internet slow, it's capped, and cost 2-5x more than what most of your parents are paying. (no, starlink doesn't work here, even though i own the new gen dish)

3. although data usage is a huge thing for me to consider, it's not the biggest issue for me. i am good at budgeting numbers. if i'm going to pay $70+ for a game, i want to "own" that game. i want a physical disc copy. a code for download should be "optional/extra", not the norm.
----

this post obviously won't spark the creation of pc physical copies for this game.
but my point is made. i won't purchase this game. hopefully the next good looking game in the franchise will have a physical copy for me to purchase.

Yes, what a delusional person... a physical copy for you to download on Steam and receive a Free Steam key... I think this person was living in a rock all of these years...

If the game was on I dunno GOG, then we could talk about AT LEAST!

Buy a PS5 Version of it.

one of the other great features of Steam is the discussion forums, where i can relate my grievances of a franchise.

i'm not asking for "Steam" to release a physical copy. you are beyond ignorant to even attempt to paint the picture this way.

new gen consoles are not a solution to staving off fears of future disablement of owned games. new gen consoles are made specifically with "temporary" usage in mind.
a big factor also being that PS5 doesn't have any exclusives that entice me.
it's a lot of money just to have a physical option for this game.

i do own a Nintendo Switch. but it's gen 1 and i don't see it being able to handle this game optimally. i've also had memory issues with this device twice since purchase. which has largely killed the time i spend on the Switch outside of a couple games.

all-in-all, it is really the only suggestion you could make in this circumstance.
but i want PC quality, and i want a physical copy.

otherwise i'm waiting a few years to see if this drops below $10 on a black friday sale or something. maybe my interest will still be lively enough to make a purchase at that point.

So you moved away from conveniences and are asking FOR conveniences?
