Sparking Zero IS NOT A DEAD GAME. STOP BEING A SHEEP
Lets be real, for a fighting game and especially an anime one, having over 15k players a month after release and especially on steam is an amazing feat. Given the console numbers as well this game likely has far above 50k+ active players. Stop believing ragebait headlines and following the bandwagon before forming your own opinion. It will be funny to see the numbers shoot back up the second the Super Hero DLC comes out with everyone wanting to play Beast Gohan :csgoskull: simple minded fools

Itll be funny when the DLC drops and the numbers dont shoot up.

losing 107K players in 1 month is a crazier feature. everyone just makes excuses.

a game with > 500 players consistently isnt a dead game. its typical for any game, fighting games especially, to lose player counts because when a game comes out everyone is playing it at the same time, but play it less the longer theyve had the game. why are you just hating lol

Sure but the excuse normally is well ITS a fighter game its supposed to lose players.... its this kind of game its supposed to lose players.

AT some point this game has to stabilize and its showing no life of doing so. games that are almost 2 years old, (SF6) and tekken 8 are on the verge of holding more numbers.

yall are seriously coping its wild.

i never did get the obsession of steam charts = playerbase and have no idea what the rise of it was in recent times

my expectations for games is under 1 min queue = live game and im a happy camper getting games under 1 minute

its already hitting that point to where depending on where you live ...... its dead. Thats the point. Whether its dead for everyone is a separate talking point.

You know that only players who dont have nothing to do with thier time care about steam charts (it is sad people waste time in so uselles way as it give them nothing)? They are statistic maniacs who dont understand basics and not ejoin playing games. Just ignore them like me and others, as this game is and will be very lively in future.

Those games are different from Dragon Ball, so don't compare the two. Sparking ZO is built up, you know, for Dragon Ball fans, but this game is about how skilled you are as a player. The people who refuse to even learn the game leave, which is why people are still crying about the Great Ape Vegeta fight in story mode, which isn’t even hard, but they refuse to learn and get better, so they just quit. As for online, the toxic people in ranked and online aren't helping at all, making the game not fun with Afterimage Strike spam and cheesers. It's not fair to face those kinds of people when you're just trying to have fun.

I believe my critiques putting it against sf6 and tekken 8 is valid especially when its in the same category of winning an award this year for best fighting game. I think making excuses for a game is only making the game worse. The more excuses people make for a dev team that has not made a full patch yet is just wild.

Compare SZ patches to any other 2024 game you wont find any game like SZ receiving 0 support. The player base reflects the support going into the game.

Ranked and online will never be balanced they admitted this already, so i can't see how DLC characters are magically going to revive this game when the meta will pretty much always be the same.

If you ask people in asian countries how this game is doing on PC, its not doing very well. It was way overhyped for what it actually produced. The high right now is 8k, and the low is just over 3k. The average is just about 5.5k right now that you can expect to play with during the day.

This number also LOSES more people because ..... well its 8k at most is online in a day, not all 8k of those people are qeueing ranked or even playing online to begin with, some people are also only doing lobby matches, and then some people are only playing with friends.

The ranked qeue system will be dead in times to come (they also split the player base by having single and dp matches). Theres tons of issues with how they designed the game long term and people are blind to it because the dragonball z paint is on this game.

It isn't in the same category. Sparking is an arena fighter, not a 2D fighting game, so it's not the same."

Sure your entitled to your opinion, but when if it wins the best FG, people are going to switch their tune pretty quickly. Out of the whole post thats all you got out of me?
Wertologist Nov 20, 2024 @ 6:46pm
I'm feeling that it's dead not because of active player count, but rather a complete lack of ANY patches or any kind of news other than vague DLC promises

There's no sign they're even planning on fixing issues like rush attacks missing constantly or story AI being too strong. They seem 100% focused on selling DLC which will probably be very lackluster

who cares about console players when this game doesnt have crossplay?
