Revenge counter when i didnt click R3

In my fights sometimes when i attempt to do things like a super counter, i accidentally revenge counter and waste my points. I went back into the training to see which button it was and it says revenge counters are "R3", in basically no occasion do i click R3 during a combo or when im being combo'd yet it still does it anyway?

probably some auto features being turned on in your options, like auto guard etc. I'd suggest turning everything off, they get in the way of your gameplay

I have guard assist off but some other things on, is it really worth it to just turn EVERYTHING off?

absolutely, in fact everything should be turned off in that window

Yeah this was actually the issue, there is a setting "revenge counter assist", turned that off and now i havent done a single revenge counter that i didnt want to do thanks bro 🙏
