GT Goku vs Baby Custom Battle
I just spent a bunch of time making a Custom battle of GT goku vs Baby starting from the moment they return to earth. It is a bit rushed as I tried to cram a lot of the story into one custom battle. However I would like to hear any opinions and feedback if Possible.

It is a bit tricky of a fight, I probably should have buffed Majuub a bit to make it feel more canon.

I don’t know about the challenging part. The AI seems a bit spammy with the ki blast phew phew, which is a bit annoying. Every second they charge ki, phew phew, repeat. I don’t know if it's used like that, but it’s definitely annoying. There are also a lot of jump cuts, and it seems like a lot of stuff gets skipped. You’re forced to take damage when there should be chances to dodge or counter. A forced attack that either insta-kills you or comes close to it just to trigger the next part is kind of annoying. Going into Super Baby 2 into the insta-skip Death Ball just isn’t fun. I wanted to fight at that point, like in the anime. There should be a force action option instead of a forced unblockable super or ultimate, which gives the player a chance to react, block, dodge, or even counter. But I did run into the secret ending where, if you beat him before he goes Great Ape, it did catch me off guard.

So the forced Hits were to recreate the actual fight. Goku loses to Baby at the start, Baby also barely fights in Super Baby 1 and jumps to Super Baby 2 after like one hit to which he then uses his Revenge Death ball right away, just like in the anime.
As for the AI yeah I didn't adjust it's strategy so it is a bit Spammy. I've been working on that in my new Custom battles.
Thanks for the feedback though. I'll take them into consideration when working on my future battles.

It's understandable to try and remake the fight, but you don’t need to force an unblockable, as that didn’t happen in the anime. Goku was just losing power. You can do this for the SSJ3 parts as well. You can set it up so that after a certain amount of time, the ki you have drains, making it feel like he’s losing his power and becoming weaker. Then the action happens, and Goku loses SSJ3. You can set this up with effects to avoid the AI from spamming. You first need to set the AI to max difficulty, which is 20, and give it a strategy. I sometimes give the AI two strategies, and in one of my fights, it’s almost impossible to cheese the AI with grabs. They will counter your grab or have a grab clash 95% of the time. The AI will also stop your spam—if you try to spam supers or anything, it will block, vanish, or counter. As for ki attacks, the AI will deflect everything. You can set all this up. It’s not simple to learn, but you can. I always set up hard and long fights in my story. One thing I do that nobody else does is when there’s a fight with more than one enemy, I make them combo off each other. For example, in my Majin Hercule fight, which is one of my hardest, there’s an ultimate combo the AI can do where Yajirobe starts the combo with his ultimate. After it sends you flying, Hercule will sometimes rebound with a hit from behind, then Evil Buu will also rebound into his ultimate, followed by Janemba rebounding you again from behind into his ultimate, with Hercule coming again for another rebound to finish it off. This changes depending on who is alive or not. If you’re fast enough, you can catch the others to end the combo. This isn’t something normal players can do, and it’s something I set up for custom battles only if you know how. The last part of the combo is left up to luck, though, because you can die from it if you’re not watching your health while fighting.
you can give my majin hercule fight to see what i mean by getting the ai to do something u wouldent seen before so its not so spammy 4-615-343-879 let me know what u think but it takes me alot longer to finish these kinda fights cause i have to account for every kind cheese lol

I am still working out which strategies do what actions most. I hadn't touched the feature till now as I too am trying to avoid cheesy tactics. Once again as for the forced hits, I do try to minimalize them as well as the damage they do. While Goku didn't fully take the revenge Death ball in GT as Kabito Kai saved him I felt narratively I wanted to put the hit there. I generally only use them to indicate the bad situation the character is in. I can understand that for some it breaks their gameplay immersion. That is why it only happens at the start till you get Super Saiyan 4. The Last Revenge Death ball with great ape Baby is just a way to clash if the player choses.
I did the timed effect for the Super saiyan 3 twice in the battle as for the Ki Draining, I didn't consider it at the time as I just felt the player wouldn't notice it.

I'll be sure to check out your battle when I get the chance.

So I played yours and if you really wanted to try and prevent people from using blasts and skills you could just block them in the character customization. Also the loops of cutscenes being all over the place is a bit jarring. I didn't manage to beat it, furthest I got was beating Mr. Satan and having Yajirobe come in, though Janemba random switched in with zero context. It is an interesting concept, could be fleshed out a bit better with Triggers.
