Game freezing during multiplayer

I was able to get all the other achievements before the multiplayer ones with no issues. Then after playing 40 matches online for the first time, my game froze for the first time ever. I was fighting Super Saiyan God Goku in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber with base Goku Black. The sound kept playing (albeit periodically stuttering) but I wasn't able to do anything within the game.
Yesterday it happened again after about 30 matches, while trying to spectate a match.
Does anyone know if this issue is somehow related to the servers? Or should I be worried about my hardware being damaged?

Is it just online or single player too?
If only online, then it might be the other person with low fps which affects the experience overall

It has only happened twice now. Both of them online. One moment we were playing completely normally and then the next the game froze and wouldn't work again until closing from the task manager. The second time I was trying to spectate a match while waiting for my turn.

It could also be the fact that I have the game and Steam installed on an HDD drive instead of SSD.
