im pretty sure that is just the english dub. from what i remember watching the subs there really is no romantic feelings, it's more a sibling relationship.

It's the same with the Yamato character in One Piece. It doesn't have to automatically relate with that agenda because certain words ore used in phrases that would suggest otherwise if you only looked at the language from a comparison/going to Google University. It'd be like saying "big mom" Linlin" is lgbt for using male pronouns in relation to being the leader of her faction or wanting to be "king" of the pirates by extension. Her and yamato are clearly female, they just both deal in their characters from a stance over gender standpoint but it's the same reasoning claiming she is lgbt for wanting to be "Oden" and Oden being male by extension. But they focus on secondary traits that exist as part of the catalst because it upsets the narrative of wanting to be "Oden" to be Oden versus wanting to be male versus female, Oden just happens to be a dude.
