Health regen on switching
I think one change that would be nice is on team/dp battles i kind of wish the health regen for switching characters should be a lot less than it already is. idk how fast/ how much you get exactly but it's definitely quite a good amount. It's not the worst thing in the world but some matches can get a bit boring with everyone switching in and out getting soo much health back overall to out wait the timer.

It almost feels like a battle of staying alive instead of a battle to defeat your opponent sometimes. what are your thoughts on this?

There's a capsule that increases it. Perhaps your opponents are using it?
Idk how bad it is at the base values because I didn't do much team battles since they take forever and I enjoy the round robin nature of the casual rooms

i never play with capsules, i'm talking about default values. It can just get abit boring when it's all about surviving as long as possible instead of fighting to beat your opponent

Yeah imagine fighting in a fighting game. Stall meta has to be the worst thing in this game

My thoughts are that if your opponent has time to regen any significant amount, you're taking too long to beat down their swaps.

I've noticed a LOT of people in B-rank and below (pointing this out cause I had even worse players outside of Ranked, so consider "B-rank and below" to include non-ranked players as well) have an obsession with charging ki.

Got a half second between combos? charging ki
Got 20ft of distance between you and them? charging ki
Just finished an ult and they're looking for you? charging ki
Just missed an ult and they could 100% punish you for it? charging ki

Everyone is so weirdly reliant on charging ki when you passively generate it by dealing melee damage. But nobody is aggressive enough like that.

If you're having matches that turn into running out the clock cause your opponent is regenerating too much HP from swapping, then stop playing so passively. Be aggressive, don't give them that time to recover.

If their entire schtick is "when X gets low, swap to Y", then get Y so low they have to swap to Z, and repeat until they're all dead.

I promise you, no amount of passive regen will outmatch the raw damage you can deal with a half-decent combo into a basic super. Hit'em hard enough and fast enough and you'll outpace their regen, no problem.

I meme with donuts skills all that health is useless, but if u use smash rush or ki rush or normal skills it will take a lot of time to kill them for sure. And give them the option to switch.

you know they have enough time to swap characters after you hit them with a super or ultimate in most cases since you don't recover fast enough or are out of Ki

Not in all cases if u play with ability items your skills are cheap. There is stuff that can keep the other person quite busy. Timing is essential, little bit of luck and skill. I think I can, spam a skill every 1,5 seconds the whole match without stopping if he lets me. I just wait most of the time that he wastes his ki start match and then its RIP. They will have a hard time recovering from that mistake. I do enough burst damage from a range with skill, that I keep a safe distance and if he wants to close in he need to use ki, while dodging my attacks that also uses ki. If he closes the distance I try to counter it and kick him far away. My skill do buffed depending on the character around 11000k to 14000k,

Ultimate's are fun but 2x a blast attack equals a ultimate. Why bother with the ultimate in that case. Certain blast skills are much better. U can still dodge an unblock able ultimate that might do 30k damage, U can at least spam 4 x 14000 while in sparking mode and 4 - 6 with ki.

Of course unless your trying to have some fun. Sure I use Beerus (27k+)Tien (45k+)and 1st form Friza (20k+) and have blast spamming there ults. Still makes my life harder against heath regain, low dp teams. Same applies with proxy death builds, god vegata (32k+) blue and majin buu (27k). Not enough burst damage to finish them off in time. Your opponent will heal if u don't burst by using a skill or switching.

Im not saying heath regain builds are not strong, against certain characters, build or people but there is a counter tot that cheese tactic.

My verbal diarrhea is real omg. Cheers!
