Vanish doesn't work with CPU?

Online, vanish war is always there. I literally spend all the bar of ki vanishing (boring af btw)

But fighting with the CPU, the first vanish works and then ALWAYS the second vanish don't. The CPU hits me no matter what. Is this a bug or...?

It's not a bug i don't think. It seems they're limited to 2 vanishes for some reason. They can vanish twice and if you out-vanish their 2nd vanish you always win. At least that's how my experience been with the AI

ai can only ever high speed move 2 times and super counter 2 times.

No, no... I CAN'T vanish twice. As i said, i can always do it online, but when i face CPU, on the second vanish i just fail when i'm sure i pressed the button at the right moment.

No, no... I CAN'T vanish twice. As i said, i can always do it online, but when i face CPU, on the second vanish i just fail when i'm sure i pressed the button at the right moment.

As long as you have enough Ki to Vanish the second time, then you should be able to do it. I've won a good 95% of the Vanish Wars I've done against the CPU. In fact I used the CPU in order to train up my timing for vanishes :P

the timing of the first vanish is different of the rest.
the first one is easy, the rest is more strict and must be pressed almost near when hit.
do not spam the block button or you will auto fail, press only once per dodge.

I don't spam block button. I press it right when the animation of the hit starts. Online, it's always a success and i rarely fail. But with the CPU i ALWAYS fail the second vanish, it's weird.

Meaby online the devs added more frames because of the lag?

Single player / Vs CPU the Vanish/Z Counter window is tighter than online.
Online has lag compensation, is why vanish wars and z countering is so easy.

Oh... shoot. I meaby got used to the online vanish. I didn't go player vs CPU for a long time and that's why i don't get the timing right. But i don't know, i'm pretty sure i'm pressing the button at the right moment.

You'll get timing down eventually. I can vanish / z counter the AI reliably and the max times they can do any is 2.
