Why is future trunks hair blue now instead of purple?

It was changed to better match the anime

Manga Bulma had purple hair. Anime gave her blue hair. Trunks was introduced with purple hair and the anime kept that for some reason. Super comes along and his hair is blue now

toriyama forgot his hair was purple.

you have the character of future trunks from z whose hair is purple and then you have future trunks from super whose hair is blue. both are in the game last I checked.

The actual reason? They wanted trunk's hair to match Bulma's (they both had purple hair in the manga).

The lore reason? Either hair dye or the color changed with age. Because in super hero they even changed present timeline trunks to blue hair after his Saiyan puberty.

You mean Toriyama forgot that Bulma's hair was purple and then forgot that they made it blue in the anime and made Trunks hair purple until he realized that Bulma's hair is blue and made Trunk's hair blue too.

It does not matter, some times work of fiction get their own continuity wrong, so the only explanation is that someone did not care enough to get it right,

they've changed it to address the male stereotype that purple is not exactly a masculine color, but light blue is.
i'm actually joking but, that would be the most logical reason for me.

The anime should follow the anime version, right? Regardless of Bulma, Trunks could remain Purple hair because his dad has black hair.
