That's what happens when a game launches without any real punishement against quitters.
As I also want to block people who cheat, and run the game at less then 60fps.
What ive been doing is taking notes of the players that quit my games and if i see them in my next match i just instantly leave and dont entertain it. Only real solution atm.
Well this is what the devs were talking about, you would be placed in a low prio q and if it continued you would be permanently removed from the q entirely without being able to return. Realistically the best way to solve this problem is if someone leaves you receive your points and they loose their or 2x the amount they normally would.
They do something similar in league where if you leave the game you cant q for 5 10 to 30mins sometimes an hour and loose a large amount of rank points and get reduced on victory for x amount of games depending on how low your priority q is.
To encourage players to finish their fights and ensure a fair competitive environment, Bandai Namco will punish those who repeatedly leave fights early or engage in “disruptive behavior” in the online mode of Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO.
In a post on their support site, the company detailed how the penalty system will work for ranked matches in the fighting game. According to the information, the matchmaking time to find opponents will increase depending on the severity of the offense.
The developers warn that if multiple penalties are accumulated regularly, players could receive an indefinite suspension, preventing them from participating in ranked matches in Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO. This measure aims to prevent players from quitting matches.
However, Bandai Namco warns that penalties will be applied uniformly and without exception. This essentially means that all players will be affected, whether they disconnected intentionally or due to network issues.
Spike Chunsoft clarifies that bans will be gradually lifted as players complete matches normally in the game’s competitive mode. They also note that their customer service will not handle individual requests to remove punishments.
First of all, the same guy who rage quit against laggers/blast spammers/fun ruiners should never been banned. He trained to apply his combo in ranked and realize the opponent will do anything to make him loose by submission ; Health recovery spam abuse? 10 slot heroes ki reload abuse so they could spam entire game the same cast of blasts?
Let's consider i face someone who have red network and spam. HE SHOULD BE THE ONE BANNED FOR EVER BROTHER. Refuses to train, sabotage ranked of opponent to get a fictive win/rank.
When they will fix the reports (troll, harass) and ban the one who get reported , then the real thing could occure ; a magic game where anyone accept to loose if less trained.
Others who try to find excuses for this pitty gameplay are the lack of gaming, go back to dora the explorater brother
Once u have leavers who ragequit real games against stronger opponents (for real, not BS skills mentioned above) u can ban them. here its only Heil Discordia, Bendai suc** for this.
