Local splitscreen on any stage in pc version?

They should allow pc players to play local splitscreen on any stage. If there are performance issues, they won't be an issue in years to come, as pc hardware will get faster. But if they lock the mode to only one level, we will be stuck with that poor decision forever. I would rather have support for the mode now, even if I can't run it well, because I know in the future, it won't be an issue.

There will be mods I'm sure, but it would be nice to officially support it at launch.

It will support local Multiplayer, its confirmed in the tags.

the local coop was added in via backlash. The hyperbolic time chamber will be the only thing we get on release for local coop. A man can dream, though. Of getting more support for local coop but its highly unlikely. Let the modders cook, they'll figure something out

That won't change a thing, local coop is an offline mode. There's no risk of getting banned for playing offline, first thing you learn when you mod a game.

Hopefully they support remote play together for local "offline" coop.
