Wouldn't that potentially ruin future DLC though? I can see a background character or a newer character, but idk about a character in future sagas

That is possible but it's probably a character that can't or wouldn't be bundle with other characters.

If it's anyone from the manga, it'd be Merus or Ultra Ego Vegeta. Moro or Granolah wouldn't work, because they transform. They'd need more than one character slot.

Black Frieza and UE Vegeta are both in the same saga, meaning they would most likely be paired in a DLC. I think the pre-order character has to be standalone

No he's not. Black Frieza has hardly done anything yet. There's nothing to use for him, no moves to give him, other than just generic Frieza moves.

No he's not. Black Frieza has hardly done anything yet. There's nothing to use for him, no moves to give him, other than just generic Frieza moves.

What really has UE Vegeta done? Or better yet, before GT, what did Gogeta do?

He fought Granolah and Gas. He can use Hakai. He shot off a giant ball of ki which could be used as his Ultimate. Ultra Ego Vegeta has plenty to pull from.

True. I don't think black Freeza does anything expect obtain that form and kill Gas to prove that Granolah's wish was a monkey's paw

so, in xenoverse 2 the pre-order character was base goku black. so it IS possible.

However, no character was made DLC that wasn't in the anime already. Rose was put into a DLC pack after he was shown in Super. Same goes for Beast Gohan and Orange Piccolo. Unless there was an exception in another DB game, the flow seems to be that the character needs to make an anime appearance before being made a character in x game

xenoverse 2 did add a fake wannabe ultra ego vegeta so honestly anything could happen
