He's 100% NOT gonna be shallot.

I could say that its cuz that character is soulless worthless garbo, but there is actually a better UNBIASED reason for that.

Each transformation is counted as a separate character, shallot can go ssj, thus he should be 2 characters, not one.

If they release only base form people will get mad for not having both forms and even after they release ssj shallot as DLC nobody will buy it cuz it sucks.

The extra char can only be a standalone character "separated" from the main Dragonball, something totally extra that has no transformations or links to other characters.

For example its impossible for it to be Mira, cuz they would put it together with towa and other xv garbage as DLC, It can't be OG Broly cuz it has 3 forms (thus 3 characters) and the last thing to mention is that the character is a mere preorder character so it can't be too cool/important.

My bet is Hatchiyack, but 21 is also possible since both have no transformations or real links to other chars.

Its possible they will only put the majin form, without adding lab coat.

My guesses would be either SSJ Bardock or Hatchiyack, neither appeared in the BT series.

SSJ Bardock has been appearing in games after Tenkaichi, making him more popular. Hatchiyack was pretty much exclusively in RB2 (besides being in a Japan-only game), which this game is taking some inspiration from.

Some people are guessing it to be Beast Gohan, he's almost guaranteed to be DLC for the Super Hero pack instead. I don't see it being 21 either, surely she would use more than 1 slot

I really hope it’s not Shallot. The fact that Devil Artemis uses him for some jokes on his YouTube videos pretty much proves how bad Shallot is

looking at the rest of the preorder bonus and it being an unlock for broly and gogeta from DBS Broly, and DBS Super Hero being relegated to the DLC, as well as the fact that they've stated the game has been in development for 6 years, we can assume the planning for this game happened around 2018, when the DBS Broly movie came out (thus the early unlocks being planned for the dlc), covid19 happened a year after and must have delayed development by a bit or caused a delay in revealing and releasing the game, THUS DBS Super Hero is not in the base roster as far as we can tell, and will be in the DLC.
can you guess which character has not made it into any DB games since he made his first appearance in december 2018 onward?... Moro.
i'm specifically talking Old Man Moro from the first fight with goku and vegeta... cause guess what? we are told the season pass has 3 DLC packs, containing content from SH and Daima... and a third mystery option... surely the third pack would have had a fat GT logo or Z with some movie character if they're selling us characters like Z Broly or Cooler. while i am not denying the chance that the 3rd pack may just be SH or Daima content, the game has surprised us with the inclusion of a few manga techniques AND turning vegeta's super saiyan blue evolution into a blast stock buff super like kaioken, while he physically looks like the manga version of the design... so if they were gonna tease the 3rd dlc pack, get more preorders for the game in the last month before it releases, the best candidate is old Moro, since his other forms can be sold as part of the DLC pack. if my speculation is correct it also means a lot of characters will be getting costumes and new moves as part of the dlc expansions (for example Super Hero Gohan will probably be a costume for Adult Gohan just like the DBS version is, idk if they're going to keep him unable to go into ultimate like in BT3, but beast will be a transformation for ultimate form, all included with the SH costume. in the moro arc case, a bunch of characters will get the galactic patrol logo on their costume, including UI goku and blue vegeta...etc.
since the preorder dlc will be buyable in the future, it's likely going to be linked to one of the DLC packs... so if it is not old moro, it's probably a daima character to hype people up for the upcoming anime
