The DBS Hate train if exhausting.

Like, MF, this game has no reason for existing WITHOUT DBS. BT3 was the complete package back in the day because Dragon Ball only consisted of 3 TV series, a couple of TV Specials, and Direct to DVD movies. Now there's a whole other TV series, 4 theatrical films written by Akira Toriyama, and a 20 episode mini-series coming this October with the game's release.

Of course they wanna get the game out by the time Daima releases, of course they could only afford 164 character slots for a game that otherwise would've released in 2025, of course they would've included GT in the base roster if not for the deadline, and OF COURSE THIS GAME WILL REPRESENT ALL OF DRAGON BALL by the time its support ends.

You MFs are only hating on Super's inclusion because GT is nowhere in site aside from confirmation from Goku's VA that he voiced SSJ4 Goku (doesn't confirm base game inclusion). If you want a game that simply includes DBS without compromising GT or OG Dragon Ball, play the BT4 mod for BT3. Before you go saying "why would I buy this game if I can just play a mod for a 'better' game", however, please consider that you cannot create your own What-if scenarios in this mod.

2. Super is subpar to Z content. Z outshines it.

3. I would like a NEW tenkaichi/sparking game that doesn't include super content, however I will completely disregard your silly advice to play an illegal janky BT3 mod.

4. Sparking zero is looking to be great. Even with the cringy super content included. I will enjoy all the z content it includes, and if I can, keep as much super out as possible.

Dude I think probably a majority of players did what-if scenarios in local vs back when the games were still new, all it takes is a little imagination!

I think most people just want a modernized Tenkaichi game that still includes it's nostalgic DBZ/GT content, I think a lot of people are worried because Super is almost exclusively being represented atm.

I like DBS being here, but keep in mind most people do not want it to completely take over this game

End of the day if you like DBS you should just ignore what people say and keep enjoying it

Z is definitely the best of the best, but I believe Super is overhated, I understand the criticism, but it's overhated in a way that it feels like yall hate it as much as the Netflix show called "Velma" lol you guys are tripping, I like all the new forms (except Blue, absolutely wasted), I like the Arcs, the animation could've been improved in BoG, RoF and Champa tournament, and the fact that y'all are willing to exclude Super content only because of pure hate is crazy honestly, it's worse than the Goku powerscaling wankers.

Super is Okay with me as well. It chills neatly in 3rd place out of all the dragon ball content.

I'm convinced most of the DBS hate on here is just clown farming.

I understand preferring older Dragon Ball content over Super, but expecting a new DB game not to prioritize Super is just silly.

I actually think the hate isn't strong enough. Especially with those like me, who can coexist with super. If we had more hate on it, it's possible any new (possible) future reboots of GT wont look so silly.

I agree that it's quite tiresome, if only because Super simply isn't interesting enough to warrant so much chatter. Some people just need a hobby, I guess. Or, wait, I guess that's wrong -- some people just need more than just one hobby.

Now this seems kind of silly to me, along with the TC's assertion that Super somehow saved the franchise. Dragon Ball has been consistently popular for decades... it sold well before Super and after Super, and there has never been a point in history when they weren't pumping out Dragon Ball games at every opportunity.

And pretty much all of those games focus on the content of the original manga -- that's clearly where the overwhelming bulk of interest lies. Dragon Ball Super is nearly 10 years old... have we had even one Dragon Ball game that prioritized Super over DB/DBZ?

Which is part of what makes it such a weird thing to complain about.

Not to mention it still isn't the same as the original manga run as Toriyama is more of a supervisor then writer for Super. Toriyama puts out some story beats for they manga/anime to follow and the teams fill in the gaps. Also, fun fact that Toriyama didn't put Vegito in his blueprints for the Future Trunks arc but both the anime and manga added him in anyway.

It would be stupid for the game not to have DBS. DBS brought in a TON of fans to the series, only people who hate DBS with a passion to the point they refuse to watch it are old men who everyone younger than them

I don't mind Super being included at all. That doesn't mean I don't want GT in the game first. GT > Super for those like myself.
