Yeah, not creepy (or dangerous) at all.
This sentence actually doesn't really imply you're NOT gonna play in VR at the park.
Simply you said you can't wait to play in VR and then keep on playing in the park, since you only specified VR as the gaming mode, without any other modes explicitally written, the first one stands true.
To actually write what you meant you should've written something like:
"I really can't wait to play it in VR, then maybe, after going outside, resume my gaming session on the steamdeck while I enjoy my time at the park. I really wonder wether it will actually work properly though..." (Added a few more random words to make the sentence a bit more beautiful)
It was simply a case of people misunderstanding what you meant, so in this case I suggest you to expand your vocabulary.
Simply studying English doesn't really work well, so if you want to learn more words and how to use them I suggest you to watch more movies/cartoons/TV series FULLY in English, read books or novels in English, maybe listen to music while reading the lyrics or set English as the main language while playing videogames, those really help a lot.
They key is NOT to force yourself into it, but simply trying to add English to things you like in your everyday life.
