I hate cashgrab DLCs as much as the next guy, but Dragon Ball is my jam. And with Toriyama's recent passing, I'm willing to give this one a much larger leeway. I'll buy every single DLC they release that is related to gameplay (not interested in soundtrack and announcer DLCs).

It's actually pretty funny how this game is shaping up to be a better product than Tekken 8, which is supposed to be one of Bandais premiere IPs.

It will have many DLC characters IMO, but the base game will already have lots of content so it won't be as bad as it seems.
XV2 had less than 70 chars as base game, Sparking zero will already have 240+ so you will be fine.
