So No Dragon Ball, GT or Movie DLC?
If they aren't in the main game, Super Heroes and Daima over them? Heck, we already have some Super content in the game! Additionally only 20~ playable characters (presumably including forms) isn't really enough, especially since it's likely just going to be more Goku and Vegeta skins like how XV2 releases its DLC.

only Season 1 was revealed
This game will clearly have multiple seasons of DLC
I'd be seriously surprised if SSJ4 forms and Cooler, Movie Broly at least were NOT in the base game. Why would they not be? Did they say somewhere that's it's ONLY gonna be Z and Super stuff?

I'm just going based off of XV2 DLC and how it ignores any character from DB.
Xenoverse is not Canon. The whole Heroes franchise was based on fan ideas on “what if so and so character had these powers, this transformation etc”

So? Budokai Tenkaichi isn't canon either. My point is XV2 is the closest we have to guessing what the DLC will be and if it's going to be basically the same pack structure or not.
Budokai Tenkaichi aims at the canon stories and characters. The What If parts are thought up later. The entirety of Xenoverse is on the What If concept which is what makes it non canon

Isn't Daima going to be some sort of GT? It seriously looks like it.

But I really would like Janemba and old school Broly... I remember playing fat Janemba with a friend on Budokai Tenkaishi 3 and it was hilarious !!!!

Also, I hope we will get the same style of Tournament we had in BT3 with the possiblity to watch each fight, even the CPU vs CPU ones.

What worries me at the moment is mainly how the characters moves, seems too fast in permanent dragon rush mode (or however this movement was called)

Except that Xenoverse's whole thing is keeping the status quo. The only what-ifs are caused by enemies and not out of finding a better outcome over the events that normally transpire in DBZ/Super/GT.

You were pointing out what’s canon. I was pointing out the differences in the 2 games in which are canon and aren’t canon

Regardless, Xenoverse is pretty boring since it refuses to do any what-ifs (that don't get punished) or is even willing to change the history for the better.

So that means for you that Sparking Zero is going to be enjoyable for you cos canon story is concentrated on and the non-canon stuff is an afterthought

No, if anything it's the opposite. I hate the lack of what-ifs in recent games and how in XV it's seen as a bad thing to change from the status quo. I really like Supersonic Warriors, since the canon story was glossed over and all playable characters had their own route. Goku and Gohan's were pretty similar to canon, but Piccolo's one was really interesting.

Then stick to the non-canon games. It’s not like you’re forced to play the canon games

I just want more games like they used to make with what-ifs. XV is way too strict with keeping the story the exact same.

Assuming the game is popular, which it probably will be unless they majorly fumble some integral part, the game will get many season passes, spanning many eras of Dragon Ball.
