Watch out. Is a UE5 game.
Hi, as some of you who played UE5 should know, UE5 games (like UE4 games) present stuttering due to the shaders compilations. It's a common thing in this engine, and you can find a lot of treads here or on reddit about it (like P3R,LotF, etc). I strongly suggest to buy it on consoles if you have one, bcs on consoles there's no such problem. No alarms here, just a suggestion.

Of course if you have only a PC good luck with that. Hopefully they are gonna put some shader compilation on the menu (LotF has it, but it did not resolve the problem, still stuttering).

So, on PC there is a 90% chance of stuttering problems, on consoles no.

PS: For those who are wondering how can i be so certain about it for a game not yet released, just look at all the UE4 and 5 games history.

Have a nice day :)

I don't think this can be compared to LotF because it won't be a game with a big open world but instead be a 3D Arena Fighter. Shaders compilating will behave very different here

is there a way to fix the stuttering then? i only tried a demo of sandland and it did have a lot of stuttering. you are making me a bit worried now

Well, according to minimum specs required that someone dug out, the game is actually fairly well optimized and has a lot lower requirements that you'd expect looking at the trailers. But yeah, we will just have to wait and see how that one goes

Tell me you don't know about how engines work without telling me you don't know how engines work

If they add it, i hope so. But just for an example P3R is in UE4 has some stuttering problems. And it's pretty linear.

I searched a lot, and there's some posts on reddit when we can change something but in the end it's all on developers.

Thanks for the answer with no argument. As i said in the post, just check for yourself all the EU4 and 5 games threads. It's a common problem. But if you dont wanna check and dont wanna believe me, it's ok. I dont want to convince anyone.

LoTF is garbage by lore alone, and never touched a Persona game on PC. The only UE game I even bothered playing has been several BamCo games and THE FINALS. Which all run smooth, deserves a jester for trying to shill console sells on Steam.

Thanks for the daily cringe dose.

Unironically it might have less stuttering on the steam deck due to the shader cache system
