Go back and Play RB1 and RB2 online if you don't think it does. You needed a perfect connection, just defending again spam could be a pain otherwise.
BT games are about snap vanishing for defense and that requires a good connection as you need to be close to frame perfect. A good low ping match getting into a Vanshing war was one of the best things about RB1 and 2 and you could only have that fun if both players had perfect connections with the terrible delay based netcode.
This game needs ROLLBACK so its not an issue even with the idiots that insist on using WIFI for gaming.
