Biolab "Button's Puzzle" Solution Help *Puzzle Spoilers*

I have spent quite a long time trying to figure out which buttons to hit (to lower the clone pods), but for the life of me couldn't figure it out. I looked up the solution and have been trying to figure out why this is the answer and I can't figure it out.

The answer has something to do with the number grid on the ground inbetween the pods, but I don't understand how to get the answer. Can someone explain it to me?

I had to look this one up as well (it's why I came here, actually). Turns out, it's not a very complex puzzle at all - if you know what type of puzzle it is. It's a Picross puzzle, which I had never heard of before now that I remember. Here's a page I found explaining it. Makes perfect sense once you see it. http://picross.net/how-to-play.php
