Thank you for getting in touch with us.
We are sorry to hear you have had a problem with the mouse pointer disappearing of the screen.
Can you please confirm if you have the game on Borderless, Fullscreen, or Windowed? When playing the game do you tab out a lot? Once we have this information we will be able to assist you further on this matter.
We look forward to your reply.
Regards,
Team17 Support
I play in Fullscreen. I do occasionally tab out, but I wouldn't say it's an excessive amount at all. Mostly just if I need to Google something or to answer a Discord message or something.
Thanks for your reply.
Does the issue occur when using borderless or windowed mode?
Could you please check if this is the case, doing the same amount of tabbing out that you would usually as well.
Is it possible the cursor has turned into an in-game item at all or is nothing there that resembles any movement of the cursor?
Get back to us when you can.

I will try playing in these other modes and see what happens. I usually only play in exclusive fullscreen mode. But I'll try the other modes for the sake of experimentation.
To answer your question, when the cursor disappears it is completely gone. No hint of movement at all. It's really quite odd.
Thanks for getting back to us.
Please do try the steps suggested above, if this doesn't resolve the issue for you however, can you please perform a clean install of your graphics drivers? For steps on how to do this, please see the following article:
• Using DDU to perform a Clean Install of your Graphics Drivers[team17.helpshift.com]
Once this has been completed, please retest the game and see if the issue with your cursor disappearing is still occurring.
If so, we can investigate further.
Get back to us when you can.

I'm sorry, but no, I'm not going to reinstall my graphics drivers. This is the only game that I have any such issue with. It's the game. Not my graphics drivers. No offense.
It's not just the fact that this mouse pointer issue only happens to me in this game, it's also the fact that I'm encountering other UI related issues with the stash that leads me to be pretty sure it's the game.
There's the issue with the mouse pointer disappearing at random. Then there's the issue with renaming crates and, even after moving the crate, so that the name change updates, the name will revert back to the prior name it had, when re-entering the stash screen after doing a raid or logging back into the game.
Then there's also the issue where many of the guns in the game stop showing their image when in your inventory. They instead appear as a solid black rectangle, or square. Sometimes you can fix the issue by moving the gun in the inventory, or picking it up and placing it back down. But that only works occasionally.
So, this game's UI, when it comes to the stash has multiple issues that I encounter nowhere else. I know it's an early access game. So I'm not mad about it. I'm sure it will be fixed eventually. But I'm not going to accept a canned response about reinstalling my graphics drivers. When I already know they are all up to date and I have no issues with anything else, other than this game. And it's not just me. My son has the same issues on his computer as well.
