According to steamcharts, the player count has been sitting between 100-300 players daily so statistically, you might run into a cheater more frequently. I stopped playing a while back and now just waiting for the full release (whenever that's coming, the devs have said it would be sooner, but it looks like its getting pushed back a while longer) because maybe that will being an increase to the player-base.
My honest opinion, it's a fun game but wait for the full release.
You can submit a report on our Discord community #player-reports if you want to ask for a review. Here's the link to our discord, so you can observe our community: https://discord.gg/marauders
That said for the acoustic people out there in this forum... yes we all know cheaters do exist this is not a post saying they dont exist just that you are exaggerating it.
A random cheater breach into my ship, ran at the speed at sound to me. I dump the whole maggazine. It didn't kill the cheater, However the cheater didn't shoot back. He point the gun downward. I dropped my bag. He only took a pieces of paper and then left.
Moral of this story: paper quest is hard, even hacker struggle with it.
Felt this one T ^ T idk if I'll get furious towards him or feel bad for him LOL
Yep, and the wiki has a list of all the ZtH missions including what items are needed for them.

1) Lack of resources on dev/fair play team
2) When submit a cheating report there is no way to specify more details such as a video clip. Important to be able to provide context. Can do so via discord but not always easy to do that and cross reference the name of the cheater. I've seen symbols used in names to make it more difficult to report them outside of the game.
3) Smaller player base at the moment so run into problematic players more often. I've run into the same cheater 4 matches in a row last I played.
4) Can't spectate even after someone's team is wiped to get proof someone is cheating. Having a video of getting killed by a suspicious player is often not enough evidence in itself.
I personally stopped playing the game a few months ago due to the cheating and the wipes every few months. Looking forward to the game hopefully further improving and stabilizing though.
+1
2. Being unable to ID a player who killed you is not really an issue anymore. Players have unique player ID numbers that appear under their name in the end game screen when they have killed you so it doesn't matter what their name is. It's quite easy to submit a clip on the official Marauders Discord using the #player-reports channel. Nvidia and AMD GPU software has built in video clipping functions or you can free software like MedalTV so grabbing a clip isn't a problem.
4. A spectate function in a game like this needs to be done carefully because if it's done the wrong way dead players could feed information to other players that they wouldn't normally know, and yes this could be used to feed info to others that may not be on your team (just look at how bad stream sniping can be). We probably won't see a spectate option since you would only be able to spectate team mates and you can do that already on Discord, but if we do see one it probably won't be from any point of view other than your team mates. A kill cam would be more useful than spectate if you're looking to see what happened from the enemy's point of view but this would also have to be on a significant delay if you're in a crew otherwise you could feed information to your team that they shouldn't have, for example if you happen to get killed and did not know where the shot came from.
so there's a lot of other issues causing this indi game to stutter. Cheating isn't one of them (I'm like the rest, I've only seen 3-5 cheaters in my 70 hours).
