No, the game is not abandoned.

There are players online right now.

The road map is outdated, another one is pending.

The team did not go silent as someone above me just claimed, the community team members working for SIG have been communicating with players daily on Discord, and frequently on the Steam forums. Oh, and there is no "external moderation team."

There are players online right now.

And as you can see, no actual word that stuff like the roadmap is actually to be updated as of recently.

We're hopeful of course, but there's really only so much you can do with a live service game like this. And with no solid status updates we can't even be sure the game even is going to continue before or after an update is given.

Please take a moment to follow the links in that post to see the information provided by the SIG community team. Because the community team is communicating with players daily on Discord and frequently on Steam there has not been "radio silence" as you keep claiming.

Oh, and for the record the following is also not true as word about the roadmap update was communicated to players on Discord AND on Steam.
