Tech Test, Why so full?

Every time I check the steam charts for this game, it always shows that the Marauders: Tech Test has around 7-8 hundred players. What is this? Is this the secret club that's invite-only where the discord people go to play the game? It seems silly that the private tech area has more players than the actual game. The average in the tech area is almost double what the regular game is. What is it, and how do you get access to it? I think its detrimental to the game if a majority of the playerbase is just people sitting in a private game version.

It's just a bug on Steam Charts. If you click on the Tech Test you will get an error message because the Tech Test went offline on 3rd of October 2022.

Exactly, it shows 801 all the time and displays the same values for average and gain all the time because of the bug. If you click the first or second link you'll see the numbers, but if you click the third or click through to the tech test page it bugs out and won't show you anything other than the internal error page.
