Developers Removing Discussions?

I asked about the state of cheating yesterday as a launch player that left due to speed hacks and aim bots - an issue that seems to have grown worse based on recent reviews.

It was deleted between last night and this morning. Discussion was civil, so abusive chat or something of the like certainly wasn't the reason (unless things took a really drastic turn between my last interaction and this morning).

So is the developer bouncing out topics that would put their game in a negative light? Seems rather disingenuous if so.

I did comment my distain on it but not any more than usual.

How one man walls any conversation constantly on the forms.
The games still is wonky and very much experimenting with its game flow besides issues still being present like bad audio.
And how clans will KOS you for not being popular or just wanting to increase their standing for a kill leaderboard here of all places.

To add now:
I have seen posts get derailed HEAVILY and its not until people dog on the game do they get locked.
I wouldnt doubt that was the case last night.

Edit: They removed a few comments before completely deleting a post that was hating on a heavy shield.
Meanwhile they’re fine locking a “hacker” issue thread after leading people back to their discord.
Think discussions are dead now fully.

Yes they do, anything negative about the game gets removed or locked. They have been doing that since the start.

This is what steam reviews are for and why Steam tells devs not to remove criticism from the forums. Reviews directly impact sales and devs have no ability to moderate them.

when it comes to cheaters and hackers posts they have a habit of locking or taking em down.

that makes it all the most sus, given how much still goes on in game.

Gentlemen. We delete discussions on topics that go nowhere. If you suspect cheating, we have set channels for that, which we have stated many times. If we ban people that disagree with us, why are you still here. Honestly, you are probably correct, instead of deletion, locking would be better, with a context comment at the bottom explaining WHY this was done. Ill note that.

We are genuinely here to make a game. We are AWARE cheaters are here, and we ACTIVELY FIGHT THEM. I have lost a lot of weekends, and nights of sleep, just to that alone. saying we don't do it honestly is just... its dumb. Im sorry. Im exhausted. Regardless, you have fair points, like I said above, deletion is wrong, but keeping it around for reference is usefull... just report cheaters. We are a small group. We don't have time for conspiracy or anything. its a multi front war that is costing us a lot of time and effort, so when people say we dont care, its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kick to the stomach (pardon my french)
