Use bandage without going into inventory?

Hello. I just started playing this game last night. Every time I need to use a bandage I've been opening my inventory and right-clicking the bandage and then watching the green on the paper doll fill back up. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or what, but it seems like almost every time I close my inventory immediately after right-clicking and "using" the bandage, my character stops bandaging early. Also, I've watched a few Marauders videos on Youtube and I see people using bandages without ever opening their inventory. They'll be fighting with someone and they just dip around a corner and instantly start bandaging without opening their inventory and clicking on anything. Is there a way to hotkey the bandages that I'm just unaware of? I have a feeling the answer is going to be something stupidly obvious that I'm just overlooking somehow.

Edit: Could it be that in these videos they are just editing out the part where they go into their inventory or something?

1) TAB open inventory, middle mouse button on the bandage or first aid kit to use it. Close the inventory.
2) Shooting interrupts dressing. If you just walk - he continues to bandage.

Thank you! I was hitting Tab to open inventory, Right-clicking the Bandage and then clicking "Use". I didn't know about the middle mouse button. That will make it so much quicker. haha
