PVE Only Mode!?!/ WOAH!

Yeah so i dont give a sH** about pvp, if i wanted pvp i will play established pvp games.

Does this game have an exclusive PVE experence/ Coop only? Or is it always PVP forced.

Marauders does not have any PVE only modes at this time, none are currently planned.

Marauders' main game mode is PVPVE all the time. The new solo only Raider mode is PVP only since there are no bots to fight in that mode, however that mode is an experiment and subject to change. The co-op aspect of Marauders applies to the main game mode since you can form crews of 2 to 4 players and cooperate with them but you'll be in a match with up to 9 other player ships with between 1 and 4 players on each one. Sometimes you can avoid PVP by playing carefully and using the proximity chat to negotiate with players that aren't on your team.

I think Marauders is a good PVP game that happens to also have PVE, but opinions are subjective. Take a peek at some gameplay videos if the game interests you, maybe Marauders will meet your criteria for a "GOOD pvp game."

Yeah it's enforced, you're probably gonna get flamed for this you know, as may I, but I get what yr saying, be nice to have the PVE option. But, as a certain poster will probably let you know in great detail, the Dev's don't want that sort of game .. I think it's a shame personally. I can't believe that it is beyond the wit of man/the Dev's, to have 2 separate forms of game co-exist without gear being carried over. But so what if it is movable across modes? I am regularly meeting people way better equipped than me and usually dying to them. What does it matter if i have a radio pack from PVE mode. The game isn't really about tanking damage and armour/guns only make so much difference. I dunno, the nature of the game would change for sure, but it would open the game up to the 2 other customer groups - those who love PVE and the ones who fancy a bit of both in some fashion, surely more players equals more fun all round.

i also agree a pve mode\coop would work wonders but given the devs don't really care about making money, that and nothing here is seen by them unless you use discord

I would 100% be down for a offline PvE mode. Would be fun to play when my internet end up being unstable/go out. Would also be more fun than running into teams of people as a solo.

i know i was just curious, ive played games that have a chunk of features in game that are not mentioned on the steam page, even with AAAA Studios

Ah I put this game on my no buy list when i saw there was no coop or just PVE mode.
Shame the devs never learn, even games like tarkov got the hugly popular SPT mod, so popular that the devs tried to shut it down and failed.

I actually don't want to play Marrauders... This game would be 10x better with mod support... I want someone to Star Wars Mod this game so I can play in a PVE COOP environment with my friends in firefights that last longer that half a second...

NEWS FLASH Sci-fi community is looking for a solid physics and mechanics platform in every game type to play the franchises their hearts love... Go Look up the best examples. Sins of a Solar Empire, Star Wars Empire at War, XCOM, Even Mods for SWBF2.

Bottom Line you can make your game but we are here for the potential to have Cpt. Rex and the boys break onto a droid frigate, loot their crap, blow it up and laugh about wrecking the PVE Bot Face... the internet sucks with well people dont want to interact with them. 2c worth

Everything is fine and I understand the intention of the devs, but there is one aspect that I would like a pve model - cheaters. They make me want to abandon this game
