Ships Disappearing for no reason?

I stole a scout frigate, loaded in with my friend on his rustbucket and piloted it out. After raid the scout was just gone, why?

Did your friend pilot the scout frigate? I found it out that if your crew mate pilots the ship into the escape gate it becomes their ship now lol. Lost an interceptor that way. If NOT it was probly a glitch of some kind?

There are some bugs that make ships disappear from your hangar. There are also some bugs that make you spawn in a rustbucket instead of the scout, interceptor, etc. that you chose to pilot when you spawn into a map. The ship you wanted to take will still spawn in the map but you'll be on the wrong ship. Happened to us a few times, we were able to recover the ship on one of those occasions since it was right next to us. This even happens on rustbuckets, sometimes you'll see one just sitting around the edge of the map, and so early into the match that no one would have had time to pod out yet so it's not an abandoned rusty.

Also, whoever pilots a ship out of a map keeps that ship so if another person in your team flies your ship out it becomes their ship.

I stole it, he was host. Next raid he loaded up with a rustbucket (i still had frigate in my hangar) and after raid I piloted his ship out. Then the scout frigate was just gone.

Just started playing today. Stole a ship and left it in my hangar since I was in a duo and we were using the other player's ship. When we switched and I became crew lead the ship had disappeared from my hangar. Not a great first impression.

I piloted it out and it went into my hangar after the raid. Was there for awhile because I looked at it several times while we were playing and I was asking him questions about the game since he's been playing far longer. I never brought the ship back into a raid because I never got the chance before it disappeared.

The hangar has been buggy since release. I'm avoiding it until fixed or have a huge amount of money to burn.
