I must've ran into like 5 just playing today. Yesterday nothing stood out as blatant hacking or anything sus but today it's just flooded.

How could you tell they were cheating? I died a few times very weirdly but couldn't tell if it was network related or cheats

Tbh I mainly only ever run into AI / bots its rare to run into other players so far but I think its cause of how I play currently.

Just getting one tapped by people no matter what gear I'm wearing. I read that its easy to turn the anti-cheat off for this game and literally give weapons more damage and what not. I've gotten one tapped by 2 people with just pistols. Others had clear wall hacks cause I didn't move what so ever and one guy is just sprinting full force right where I am and just one taps me. Last couple days I was fine but today I don't know.

Body armor doesn't protect your face and any place the armor isn't covering just so you know.

Yeah I was even on that derelict ship or whatever with the armory. Barely run into people there but one guy entered and killed every AI like nothing and ran right to the armory and one tapped me lol.

Most people are just assuming that if they lose a fight quickly it was a cheater, very few have proof. Some folks are trying to create panic about cheaters right now and it seems like it's been working.

Oh yeah I'm not assuming at all I've gotten killed pretty badly plenty of times and not thought it was cheating.

Though Sometimes things do look suspicious. Like for example I once got shot by someone peaking around the corner with inhuman reflexes. Hard to tell if it was due to network issues or due to a wall hack. But I definitely jumped of my chair by how much I got shocked. I also had someone directly sprint at me across a few rooms and prefire me. It did seem weird but like always hard to tell, maybe just bad luck?

I forgot what they were called but a friend of mine gave me like level 8 armors and helmets. and I've been using them fine since release but today I just lost them to naked runners with pistols. lol

The ai does have a sort of aimbot btw.. and sometimes they do bug out and shoot you from angles and stuff you can't see.. but the AI is also easy to check / trick if you know how
