Worth buying if you are a solo?

I play solo. Is it worth a buy? I play Tarkov solo and while hard it's doable.

It's a bit worse than Tarkov IMO when it comes to the solo experience but it can still be enjoyable. Try not to mess around in space too much though, a squad with a good ship will ♥♥♥♥ you up in seconds

I find going solo is easier in this game than in Tarkov, but that's just my experience.

I'd say its a bit easier than tarkov, but I don't think either are very good solo. This game is okay solo occasionally but I mostly do it to set myself up for when my friends play.

I've played a LOT of tarkov, mostly solo.

Solo is the most efficient way to play this game. You can move quick, shoot everything that moves, not have to share anything, get out when you want.

Hmm... its playable solo and makes fun.

But the most players are teaming up. Like my last match: i killed 2 people, the third one pushed me when i had low HP. This game punishs you often, if you play solo. But yes, it makes fun as solo player too. But i think you should search for some people you can play with

It's a mixed bag. I am a die hard solo player, and IMO the biggest advantage teams have in this game so far is getting to the raid.

Teams can man the turret and pilot the ship without changing orientation of the ship, a solo's ship will turn in whatever direction you're trying to aim your turret. I am learning to compensate for this, but it's not easy and can be quite frustrating to end up on your escape pod almost every raid until you learn.

After that it's usual Tarkov team play where 4 mans clomp clomp clomp all over the map and you either rat it out and avoid them or ambush them for kills.

One thing I do like is you're not penalized for leaving the raid early as you are in Tarkov (run through where you lose FIR status). If you have decent loot and hear the 4 man, you can just bail quite easily and almost no one is in space to stop you getting out.

As a totally new player with 4 Raids on my belt - im not sure about the solo experience so far. I have gotten camped at the entrance to the station each and every single time I dock.
Getting 2-3 people waiting for you is bad enough, but the noise the fighting makes just attracts even more people.
So even if you win, theres a good chance someone will show up and hit you for whatever HP you have left and youre totally screwed.

Im giving this a few more chances before I hit the 2 hour mark for the refund process. But right now it seems like they have 2-3 times the players I would have expected in the same area... people are everywhere.

You're literally so bad that you're dying to the AI and yet you think your opinion has any value... come on dude, go play the game and try not to suck ass instead of spamming every discussion thread with ur whining. Literally just bring some food with you and chill to heal after you get a kill instead of afk'ing on top of their body looting, you'll be fine.

Safest? Probably not.
You can say 'oh well squads need communication', but that's the thing.
If there are groups who communicate, then you're in for a rough time. Even if you pick off one, the others will get you, plus recover their friends stuff for them. You wont have the same chances to get ahead as a squad.

How exactly are you going to 100% claim he's being killed by AI every single time? It is not out of the realm of possibility that cheap a%% players will camp an extract in Tarkov, so they will sure as Sh455 camp the docking bays in this game. Then the people getting scummed get called bad.

It's like calling someone who gets spawn peeked bad in siege, when the trash defender is the one gaming the game to peek angles they aren't supposed to be able to, and nab kills to reduce the entire competition before they have a chance to play the round. It's bad manners gaming.

Just read what he's complaining about my guy. 2-3 people by the dock, and more sprinting at him once those are dead. 1) he wouldn't be killing 2-3 people camping his airlock to begin with if they were players to even be able to ♥♥♥♥♥ about more coming for him. 2) That's exactly how the AI works, a couple are by the spawns and then more come after the noise. He's describing the AI exactly, and I guarantee if he showed the kill log from any of those 4 games, you wouldn't see "Marauder" listed more than maybe once.

The fact that you think this dude getting spawn camped every game by a full squad is more likely than him not being able to distinguish between players and AI after 4 games is wild.

Dude - I might have been abit on the forums posting about my somewhat bad first experience. But you for sure havent wasted a second jumping right in, not wasting a single second calling me a bad player and telling me to git gud.

WHILE I time and time again explain that its players, that are camping me and its also players that come running when the fighting starts... I can count my marauder kills in the result screen afterwards.

Will you learn to read the whole post before you have to barf up more of that immature gitgud ♥♥♥♥ please - or even better just stop posting and get back to being so incredibly good at this game (and every other probably) that you spend your time trolling the forums instead of playing it ?

I read your post in its entirety, and comprehended it. You're not getting rushed by multiple players off spawn in every raid, followed up by even more players. I understand that you might believe that to be the case, but it's not. You're getting bopped by AI. Please do post the kill feed from the next time this happens to you, I'll be happy to retract my statement and apologize.
