How to read comic in-game?

I know this is my 3rd topic in a row, I'm sorry about that, but I'm REALLY enjoying this game and there isn't a huge amount of answers online to the questions I have! This seems to be the best place to ask.

So, I have bought a couple of comics from the owl guy in the shop and was wondering where to read them? Is there a place in-game (like the library or hub) that I need to go in order to read them? Or do they unlock in the game files or something?

In the main hub area there's a staircase up to a big comfy chair, you can read the comics there

Is there any way to change the view of the comics? Like make it go screen width (instead of screen height)? Some of us need the content to be ... larger ... in order to read.

Playing on a PC, I was able to hold the control key down and use the mouse wheel to zoom in on the comic.

Somewhat relevant question: are the actual comic pages saved as images in the game folder, so I could use my own reader instead?

They're stored in .bundle files, so I would guess no is the likely answer.

and those are not just plain zip files or something, I assume?

Unity's website says it's usually lzma with lz4 compression, but I don't know if they're capable of being opened outside of using Unity. Besides that, after looking around a bit more, I see that the comics are in whatever format InkyPen uses, that's the system Girl Genius uses to present the comics (InkyPen is also an independent app on the Switch for reading comics, I think it's a subscription service). My guess if you want to read them in a more portable format, the best bet is on a Nintendo Switch or some handheld PC like a Steam Deck.
