Game just keeps crashing to 2k support website
Drivers up to date, restarted pc, have a 4090 so none of this is an issue.

Yes, when it crashes for me, it crashes to desktop and opens the support page. I am currently reinstalling the whole game so it'll be a little while before I can test again. The furthest I could get before if I clicked quickly was accepting on the screen where you can adjust the screen size. If I don't click anything at all when booting up the game, then it'll sit on the screen for changing the language for a few seconds then crash out.
This sounds like the anti-cheat update that NBA 2K24 received. So I'm copying some of the post I made on that situation.

First of all, delete any mods and verify your files. Other than modding or cheat programs, the following may need to be disabled to play the game based on that thread:
  • Google Drive
  • Turning off all graphic-related options for 2K24 in the NVIDIA control panel software (NOT the Geforce Experience one).
  • NahimicSvc64.exe
  • AMD Adrenalin
  • MobilePre Audio device monitor
  • VPN software

My issue seems like its time based like the game starts up i start going through setup menus and if I go fast I can get further if I go slow it crashes on an earlier page. So its like after x amount of seconds it just shuts down

Somebody who can managed to play should comment here.

I get as far as being able to select the language etc and it then crashes to desktop and launches the 2k support website. Have tried turning steam overlays on/off and running the executable as admin, makes no difference. Latest drivers for 4070 ti super.

Behaves exactly like gcadays2009 described, if you click fast you can progress through a few options screens before it crashes out to desktop.

Which page, exactly? It's possible the anti-cheat is being tripped and you have a third party program like a mod/cheat program running that it doesn't like.

I've tried deleting the executable and verifying the installation to re-download it but the same thing is happening.

The game 100% crashes after a few seconds in menu. Tried everything (verify integrity, full re-installation, restart computer, restart steam, run as admin, windowed or fullscreen mode, voodoo incantations,...), still 100% crash.

(And please don't insinuate that I'm running a "mod/cheat program" in the background.)

The first question is whether the 2K Support website opens up by itself when the crash happens.

Yes, the same for me as well.

If I look in the event viewer I see the following error:
Faulting application name: topspin2k25.exe, version: 1.0.0.1, time stamp: 0x661e6e86
Faulting module name: win32u.dll, version: 10.0.22621.3447, time stamp: 0x11899c97
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x00000000000014d4
Faulting process id: 0x0x8438
Faulting application start time: 0x0x1DA95505C610E09
Faulting application path: D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\TopSpin 2K25\topspin2k25.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\System32\win32u.dll

Edit 2:
That Exception code seems to be an access violation. But what is causing this access violation is unclear to me

Yes the useless 2K website opens after every crashes.

Complete reinstall did not fix the problem either. Still crashing at the same place.
