Game just keeps crashing to 2k support website
Drivers up to date, restarted pc, have a 4090 so none of this is an issue.

Yes, when it crashes for me, it crashes to desktop and opens the support page. I am currently reinstalling the whole game so it'll be a little while before I can test again. The furthest I could get before if I clicked quickly was accepting on the screen where you can adjust the screen size. If I don't click anything at all when booting up the game, then it'll sit on the screen for changing the language for a few seconds then crash out.
This sounds like the anti-cheat update that NBA 2K24 received. So I'm copying some of the post I made on that situation.

First of all, delete any mods and verify your files. Other than modding or cheat programs, the following may need to be disabled to play the game based on that thread:
  • Google Drive
  • Turning off all graphic-related options for 2K24 in the NVIDIA control panel software (NOT the Geforce Experience one).
  • NahimicSvc64.exe
  • AMD Adrenalin
  • MobilePre Audio device monitor
  • VPN software

Isn't there any chance that game launches with integrated GPU from your CPU?
Try to check Nvidia control panel=>manage 3D settings => OpenGL rendering GPU to NVIDIA graphic card or PhysX setting switch manually to NVIDIA graph.card ?

I made an app specific profile to check these things as well as try limiting to 60fps and a few other things but that didn't make any difference either.

i tryed it but doesnt work, game runs smooth, was on the court but then crashes again :-(

I have an ryzen 7800x3d an rtx 4080 and Windows 11 and the game closes when trying to select the language

it's a shame, bought GS edition also to get early access and cannot play. Truly hope 2K will solve within today or give us something for the mix-up caused...I expect nothing less

guys i have SLI 4090 and 2x threadripper running on 2780TB of ram. why is my game not working? i swear it's not my drivers. I also have 4K QOLED monitor AND 5000W UPS powersupply just in case game fries my house. but it doesn't work!!! help?????

I put steam in offline mode and clicked like mad to get as far as I could. I was able to accept agreements and get to the main menu and then it crashed.

Started again in online mode and now it at least goes to the main menu directly before crashing.

So I guess it's progress.

A friend of mine disabled his vpn (nord vpn) and it worked for him !

If anyone is having issues still see if you have a GPU driver update. Updated my driver for my RTX 4080, restarted steam, and worked. I also made it run as admin but that was before I updated my driver.

I have tried driver 552.12 and 552.22, and run as admin. Doesn't change anything for me.
