Was about to buy but...
So I read some reviews and now I'm hesitant. Basically I haven't bought a tennis game in like 15 years and I used to love virtua tennis and top spin.

I'm never going to play it online and if it using assets or physics from last year's game I would never know (except a review said so) and I just wanted a solid playing fun tennis game.

I'm planning on playing at 4k60+, I have a 4090, 7950x3d and 64 gigs of ddr5.

Is it safe to buy from a technical perspective and is the gameplay gonna keep me entertained when I play it from time to time?

Thanks

Buy if they actually patch the issues with people logging in. No one can log in and it's pure lottery on who has access over their anti cheat and firewall.

Sounds good to me...

Curious, if you can't login have you tried using a vpn? There seems to be some kind of routing issue to 2k servers but using a VPN can often get around them when an ISP just starts dropping packets with wreckless a abandon.

I can see them on ping and tracert but that doesn't guarantee I can login either

Do you HAVE to login to play the game? If so... Meh.. I can wait and just go play stellar blade, eventually forget about top spin until a sale triggers a wishlist email and then save some money haha.

if you are not going to play online, the career mode is not good at all and you even have to be online for that aswell, wait for a sale is what i am doing. its way overpriced as it is now.
